At Paisley Avenue Vintage we acknowledge that on occasion, buying without trying can sometimes result in a garment not fitting. This is especially true with vintage items since interpretations of sizing can differ so drastically. Body shapes vary, as do computer monitors. Therefore we have a no quibble returns policy. Simply submit a return request within 7 days of purchasing.
Please note that we cannot reimburse either return postage costs or the original postage costs of your returned item. As with buying any clothing online you must accept that there is a chance it may not quite fit. We will, however, reimburse postage costs in the event that we grossly misrepresent an item.
In the event that you are exchanging an item it is your responsibility to pay for return postage and delivery costs for the exchanged item. Unless, as above, we have grossly misdescribed your item. Unfortunately, we are only human, and mistakes and oversights do happen from time to time.
When sourcing vintage garments, it is inevitable that they can smell musky. We are not a dry cleaning service and it is advisable that your item is washed or professionally cleaned once received. Unfortunately, the fashionista who wore that awesome dress in the 80's may have been a smoker, and before arriving at Paisley Avenue it could have been stored in the back of a wardrobe or even dusty attic for the past 20 years. It's the luck of the draw who may have owned and loved your item before you but do bear this in mind. Unless stated otherwise, vintage clothing will not appear new and will show general signs of wear. We think this is what gives vintage its charm.
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, which is why if you do experience a problem it is important to contact us as soon as possible, prior to leaving any unsatisfactory feedback. As mentioned, unintentional mistakes can and do happen. However, we will always try our best to resolve any issues in a fair and friendly manner and are happy to do so.
