I grew up with and had boards/discs from my dad's late-50's and early 60's versions. I purchased a 1989 version in 1990 and played often with my kids. Son and daughter recently asked if I still had "that baseball game." The purchase of this one allowed me to give each of them a board. Recent discovery of a disc source and purchase of "best of" Cubs, Cardinals, and White Sox has allowed me to provide 3 teams to each of 3 housholds and boards on which to play. The next generation (grand kids) of managers is ready to "play ball!" Yes, the game boards are very durable as the 1963, 1969, and 1989 versions are still operable.
