Very handy, good quality, aesthetically pleasing tap covers, which simply slip over the external tap and are tightened by a drawstring. Couldn't be simpler. Much more robust than the polystyrene versions, which are to fragile and often crack and break with handling. This product can be removed, if necessary, and stored until the colder weather comes but even if left in place all year round, is removed very easily for use of the tap! Great price, highly durable and flexible material. Highly recommended.

It fitted like a glove to my tap. However a rainy spell followed and the item became waterlogged very quickly. Frost followed from that and the wet tap jacket froze! I am very disappointed as I bought two, the other is fitted to another outside tap I have at my holiday home. I haven't been there since I fitted it but it's very likely that hasn't been fit for purpose either. I'd like to return both but wont be visiting my holiday home for a couple of months. Cannot recommend this product at all

This is a neat and well made insulated outside tap cover, to help prevent frost damage to any taps on outside walls etc. It is well padded, slides over the tap, a draw string style closure cover then pulls tight so that no winds or other disturbances can 'blow' it from the tap. I have already made use of it on the several icy winter mornings so far this winter season, and has worked perfectly. Tap not stuck with ice or frost, water flows freely as it should and prevents any other damage. Would definitely recommend as ESSENTIAL for any responsible house holder to make sure taps do not freeze up. For the low cost of this cover, what would the cost be for a plumber to come and replace taps, or adjacent pipework?? A MUST HAVE ITEM.

Very easy to put on and off to access the tap. I thought it would be a thicker more rigid insulating material but the flexibility aids the use and I consider the insulation to be sufficient. The proof will be in the use over a few years.

Well I had one for a good number of years which did the job well on the outside tap on the gable end of the house, then a small split in the cover soon caught the eye of the jackdaws who ripped it to bits to get at the filling to line their nests so finding this one on eBay was a good replacement easy to fit and covers the outside tap well, Yes am well pleased with this winter tap cover now in position to be tested through the next winter.
