Return policy details
We are certain that you will be delighted with your recent purchase from Caths Direct. However, in the event you are not entirely happy with your purchase or if you have simply changed your mind you have 7 days to inform us you wish to return the order to us for a full refund. Please contact us by email or ebay messaging system to inform us of your wish to return the product then in turn please open a “Return Request” through ebay Resolution Centre.
Items must be returned as soon as possible but in all cases within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original packaging, without any adjustments in unworn, re-saleable condition and with all booklets, guarantees and product tags as received. If items are returned after the 30 day period we are within our rights to refuse a refund and return to sender.
Please note that we do not refund the return postage costs for returned orders.
Returns should be sent via an insured and traceable method, such as Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, as we cannot be held liable for any items which go missing in the post and do not reach us. If a parcel does go missing and never reaches us, it is your responsibility as the sender of the item to claim from Royal Mail or the courier used. Please note that if you do not pay enough postage for the parcel and we have to pay a fee to take receipt of it, then we shall deduct that amount plus an administration fee from any refund.
To enable us to process your return more efficiently please include a copy of your receipt we supplied with your order.
We cannot be held responsible if an item is returned without a receipt and we are subsequently unable to trace your order on the system.
When we receive your return for refund and are satisfied with its condition, we will process a refund for the full amount that was paid for the item in the same format as payment was originally made. i.e. If paid via Paypal then refund would be made by Paypal etc.
If your return is an exchanged item for a further exchange, or refund, then we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £10.00 as well as an additional postage fee. This exchange policy does not affect your statutory rights.
If upon delivery your orders packaging is excessively damaged then please sign for your order as damaged in transit or ask for your order to be returned to sender due to the damaged packaging..
We do thoroughly inspect items for defects before they are dispatched, however occasionally there may be a small flaw or fault that would not be possible for us to notice. In these cases we would pay for the return postage to return the faulty order. All we ask is that if received faulty, we are notified in email or ebay messages immediately of the fault/flaw and return within 7 days of receipt. Beyond the 7 days we would respectfully request that any manufacturing faults be dealt with via the manufacturer’s warranty supplied with all items we sell.
All of our watches are covered by their manufacturer's guarantees, please consult your guarantee booklet for information on its length. You should keep any guarantee booklets and cards safe along with your receipt so that they are available if required. We strongly recommend that you read the guarantee as this informs you what is and what is not covered.
If your watch does develop a fault and is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty then DO NOT attempt to have the watch repaired or checked at a local jewellers as this in almost all cases will result in the warranty being void. Instead please follow the advice above and return to either the manufacturers or ourselves for a warranty claim.
