Very straightforward device. Built in power supply so only needs a kettle-type plug if one is not in the box. Works as expected, monitoring LEDs along the front and front loaded cables only. Stays quite cool (haven't had it long enough to really heat it up though) but the manual makes frequent references to keeping it cool on rubber feet or a spacious rack. On the point of manuals, it is easy to find on the internet, and D-link website isn't as bad as I expected either. All in, a good device and I have no regrets about buying it.
Nice tidy, well built unit with metal case.. seems to work well on my network (Novell and Microsoft) Inbuilt power supply so just just one simple mains lead..no external transformers.. so very neat and tidy. (Boots)
