Very happy with the camera, good looking and takes great pictures and video
A cracking little camera. My family and I like the canon digital cameras and this is now the 4th and best (2 of the others were stolen. We recently tried a Sony camera but were disapointed with it having previously had the others. This particular camera is a good little camera with excellent video and pictires - it looks good and is very small and compact considering the features it has. If I had a critisism it would be that it has a slightly slow shutter lag. I was trying to take track photographs at a motorsycle race and had to try and press about 1 sec before the bikes came through. That said no other problems delighted with the camera and price - thanks

Digital compact with viewfinder
I love my Canon Ixus 100, it is very compact and has a great viewfinder which is unusual for a small camera. The small size means it is easy to carry it in the case which can be attached to my belt.

Best little compact i have ever owned never lets me down.
Being a proffessional photographer i generaly use a canon SLR but this little camera the IXUS 100 IS, is an amazing camera, some of the images ive taken with this camera were good enough to sell, great for sunsets and close up macro of flowers and insects, im sorry but i just love it, it's a pity is is not manufactured anymore, the 3x zoom is a bit of a let down, but i can't fault the results ive had using this camera, i carry it all the time just for those spur of the moment shots,and i mean all the time! best compact ive ever owned, well done Canon. A really worthwhile pocketable piece of kit.
This camera is extremely well made, very small and pocketable, which means it is carried around all the time and used. It is proving to be a good digital photography learning tool. I use the optical viewfinder most of the time which is a feature I could not be without.

Small but perfectly formed!
I had the same camera and it was stolen. So this was a replacement. This is the only compact digital camera I know of with a viewfinder. I can not otherwise see anything in bright sunlight. The size is another big bonus. Overall a great camera
