It's a very fast GPU but with some drawbacks. Make sure your case has a lot of ventilation! The TDP is only 30W less than the 3090 and yet the cooler is half the height. This results in much more noise while the fans struggles to keep temperatures down. A lot of the AIB partners have much better cooling solutions, which due to the way that Nvidia Boost limits clock speeds based on temperature, will clock higher out of the box. This card does offer 12.5% power increase for overclockers but again, you'll stuggle to use all that power unless you crank up the fan to maximum which for me, produces an unacceptable level of noise. This GPU is fantastic for 4K gaming, I just wish they had put the 3090 cooler on it. For all that money, it doesn't seem like such a big ask.
