Universal ointment of goodness.
This is a product that is hard to beat for treating small cuts, burns, sunburn, chafed sore skin, cracked and split fingers & cuticles, dry skin, insect bites, and soothes mosquito bites. My family found this product about 2 decades ago, and we try to never run out so we like these large packs for the house, and I keep a smaller size in the glovebox in the car, in the toolbox in the garage. If I apply Savlon before getting my hands dirty, they are easier to clean afterward. It also smells nice, slight jasmine fragrance I think. A little goes a long way. Absorbs nicely into the skin so your hands don't feel greasy. Highly recommended. I gave one to my sister for X-Mas, so now her family are fans too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

not the same
I have given this item a less than favourable review simply because the packaging is not the same as the ones that can be purchased locally from the pharmacy. The colour of the tube is lighter and does not match those from the pharmacy either and the tubes themselves are of a different shape. At first glance the look like a cheap and not too well made copy of the original item that are made in the UK. The reason for this could be that they are foreign imports and are of a lower quality. I have opened one pack and the contents look and have the same odour as the UK made item. So we will have to see if the cream helps heal wounds.
