I purchased this 10 pack since I needed to experiment and did not want the expense of the larger quantities offered by other, usually large retail sellers. The coated side is easy to identify. As a secondary check, I noticed that breathing onto the non coated side produced a 'mist', or condensation, whereas this effect does not occur on the coated side. I really needed this film to allow me to produce artwork for the production of a mask to block U.V light in the production of electronic printed circuit boards. To this end it performed admirably. My canon inkjet fed the film with no problem; the film has a slightly milky appearance which allows this. I print in black only to make a mask, so the image needs to be sharp and of adequate density to block U.V light. The sharpness/ definition is excellent and is noticeably better than a printout onto paper. Density wise, I had my doubts, at first, since any black on film will always, in my view, appear semi-translucent. However the proof was in the result. After exposing my copper clad board to U.V using the mask, and then finally chemically etching away the Cu, the result was plain to see; job done, no problem. 10 out of 10.Read full review

Ordered this for printing on. It prints great and dries fast. But it’s blue! Like blue blue, so if you’re using it for something that requires a non blue hue. This isn’t the one for you. Sad because it’s a great price.

I bought this film for hobby use and printed some windows for a railway workshop that I am making. They look fantastic.

Easy to use and takes ink well. Image can be rubbed off but that is to be expected. Clear image transfer and no distortion. Runs through printer without causing problems

I bought a different type of acetate (with a rougher back) but the darker colours came out lighter. This Acetate seems to have better colour transference.
