TRAVEL FOOT REST
Lost my last foot rest must have left it on the plane on my last long haul flight. So started searching for a similar one. This one came up on ebay and it appealed to me due to it's comfy looking furry part on top. It is slightly bigger than my last one so hope it doesn't take too much room in 'miserable economy' long haul. BUT, these travel foot rests are invaluable especially if you are on a window seat and then you can raise your feet onto the cushion and it takes the strain from your lower back when leaning against the window to try and sleep. Also stops that pain you get like sciatica from the uncomfortable seats after a few hours. I also think that it is good for blood flow as you can lift your legs up and down from it so hence keeping the blood flowing through to avoid DVT, although this is only my opinion. It inflates and deflates better than my old one, but I did pay a little more for this one. I havn't used it yet in situ but if it is as accommodating as my old one, and it seems to be, then lets hope we have many happy travelling times together. So disappointed
I bought 2 of this for my mum and I. I used mine yesterday for first time, during my flight. It was so comfy at first but after almost 2 hours it suddenly went down. I could see that there was a big hole in its side. I think they just stick parts together by a weak, cheap glue. I am so disappointed with my purches. I hope the other one which I gifted to my mum works well, otherwise it would be so embarrassing.

Inflatable foot rest
I used the foot rest on long haul from UK to NZ. I found it made the long periods of sitting in 'cattle class' more comfortable with a soft elevated cushion for my feet.
