BUY THIS! A really good solid bench.
This is a very good bench - solid, good width, decent pad, very stable. Love it. I was a bit worried that I was aiming at the cheap end of the market, but seemed worth a chance. I've got this for lifting on my patio - the slabs are not even level and it is still good for lifting. No problem with the weight rating on the bench- I think it was rated 300k (presumably including user) and I think it would probably take that. Which is a 220 bench for me, and I don't think that's happening anytime soon. If you're not up for buying a comp. standard bench (i.e. spending a LOT more on something with attached stands) then this is going to meet all your needs. Additional - takes about 5 minutes to put together. Easy.

Weak hardboard base,poor cheap build quality. Not recommended.
Looks very nice but is not up to the job it is designed for. The base of the padded board is weak hardboard and as such will not take the weight it is designed to. Sitting on the edge of the bench you can feel the base bending and hear the unmistakable sound of hardboard creaking and starting to break. This bench may be ok for a very lightweight person using lighter weights. In summary. A very nice bench let down by cheap and weak base to the padded area. I will be replacing the base with a plywood one in the future as it should have been made of in the first place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy Bench
