For when your mind just won't stop . . .
I find that with work and all, I can't go to sleep right away at night. I'm still thinking about the events of the day. I take a 5MG of Melatonin every night and it helps me to ease into sleep. It has not caused me any side-effects and doesn't interfere with my other medications. The tablets are easy to swallow and do the trick! Natural help for restful sleep.
I started using this product to help my circadian rhythm normalize. I tend to stay up very late, often turning off the lights when neighbors are waking up, then sleeping off and on into late afternoon and getting nothing done. I've only used it about a week when I remember to, but when I do, my sleep is steadier, no tossing and turning, no waking up several times before ready to get up, and when I do get out of bed, I feel a bit more rested. Works surprisingly well
Usually I'm not a big fan of supplements claiming medical effects similar to actual medication, but I thought "what the hell" and tried this. The thing is that this actually works! It doesn't act like "regular" sedatives though: I haven't noticed any numbing of senses or anything like that. It isn't acting exactly fast either: it takes about an hour for it to kick in. Afterwards it just makes one more tired and more willing to sleep, even if you weren't sleepy before. There are two caveats though: the 5 mg dose makes me sweat pretty heavily in the morning prior to wake-up and also made me dream about all sorts of complete nonsense at times (not nightmares, just stuff that doesn't make any sense at all), so one might want to take only half a tablet at a time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fall Asleep Quick and Easy...
Take one Melatonin about an hour before bed and it helps me to relax enough, shut off my mind from the day, and get to sleep. Have been taking it off and on for four years and found that after a few days of not taking it I go back to tossing and turning and not getting a good sleep.
