Designed specifically to match the trajectory of the popular .22 Long Rifle round, this riflescope features Nikon’s unique BDC 150 reticle. The reticle gets its name from the additional open dot aiming points located below the center of the crosshair, which are designed to allow the shooter to compensate for the bullet drop experienced at longer distances, as BDC stands for bullet drop compensation. The scope has a fixed parallax setting of 50 yards, meaning the center of the crosshair is designed to provide a dead-on shot at that distance. In addition to the standard center aiming point, the reticle also features additional aiming points for 75-, 100-, 125-, and 150-yard shots. Also known as Nikon P-Rimfire scopes, the P-22 is available in different strengths, including this 2-7x32 scope, a 3-9x40 model, and numerous others. This particular model has a 32-millimeter objective diameter and allows shooters to adjust the magnification strength from 2x to 7x. This Nikon P-22 scope features a 1-inch diameter main body tube, which provides a field of vision measuring between 6.4 and 22.3 feet at 50 yards. The scope also features ample eye relief at 3.8 inches, providing ample space between your eye and the scope to ensure that the recoil doesn’t cause the eyepiece to come into contact with your face. The overall length of the scope is 11.5 inches, which allows it to fit snugly on nearly any type of .22 Long Rifle, including those made by Ruger. Hunters who plan on using this scope on a Ruger will also be pleased at how light it is as the Nikon P-22 2-7x32 weighs a mere 16.1 ounces. In addition, the scope features a matte black finish that is both functional and stylish. By choosing a matte finish, Nikon ensures that light will not reflect back off of the scope, thus helping to keep you better hidden while out hunting. With fully multi-coated optics, this scope provides maximum light transmission to ensure a crystal-clear, ultra-bright image in virtually any light setting. Whether you are hunting at dusk, dawn, or during the middle of the day, the Nikon P-22 scope provides maximum brightness. Durability is also not an issue with this scope as the main body tube is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed. This ensures that the scope is both fully waterproof and fog-proof. Another unique feature on this line of scopes is the Zero-Reset Turret, which makes adjusting for range as simple as can be once the rifle has been properly sighted in. After sighting it in, all you need to do is lift the spring-loaded knob, turn it to zero, and you’re ready to go. Adjusting the scope is also a breeze as it features tactical-style hand-turn adjustments. Each click adjusts the reticle ¼-inch MOA at 50 yards, and the scope has a maximum internal adjustment of 80 MOA. Although it is designed for the .22 Long Rifle, this scope also makes an excellent choice for AR-style rifles. Nikon Scopes
Well, I have to say that once again Nikon has made a nice scope. I have three Nikon scopes and they are all out standing. The glass is super clear. This is mounted on a custom 10/22 build and it shoots 1/2 groups or less at 50 yards and keeps them tight to 1-1.5 inches at 100 yrds. That a .22 people. Very satisfied. Pictured is the 50 yrd target and the rifle.

I can tell you that to my SURPRISE this 22 LR Nikon P2 BDC scope purchase IS PERFECT. This is the best small bore glass I own. Along with the BDC dots for care free shooting this scope has target Knobs that allow for up/down movement. Very positive clicks.
