Great budget HBA/Raid controller.
This LSI/Avago HBA/Raid controller is awesome for the price. If you are using SATA or SAS drives inside you Server or PC and you don't need more than 4 hard drove in your array, this is perfect. It also has a rear SAS port for connecting a external SAS disk array. If you are just using it as a SATA card to add more hard drives to your system, or you are using sotware Raid you can use the IT firmware. If you are going to use it as a Raid controller then you need to use the IR firmware. Both of the IT and IR come in the same file you download from LSI/Avago/Broadcom.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
