A high-quality statue that any Browncoat will think is shiny, but expect a high price.
Very high quality statue. If you're a Browncoat, then there's a lot to like about this piece, but seeing as it's a limited-edition item from a film that debuted in 2005, expect to pay to get one of the few that are available. The base is solid and very heavy, so it needs to be displayed on a stable surface (wouldn't recommend on a glass shelf of a curio, for example), and the base is wide too, so you need space for it. (And yes, the pun is always intended.) River herself is PVC, but I like that she locks magnetically into the base so she won't topple over when you move the statue. The whole thing is attractively packaged and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It's a mighty fine addition to anybody's Firefly/Serenity collection, but like I said, nowadays it won't come cheap.
