The grinding settings go from 1 (very fine) to 17 (very coarse). with removable containers for beans and ground coffee for eacy use and cleaning. By setting the distance between the two grinding discs, a uniform degree of grinding is achieved.
poor grind which is all it is supposed to do so a pretty pointless machine
Grind is inconsistent and no where near fine enough for espresso let alone Turkish grind as it claims. I bought this on its wide recommendation but it failed miserably for me. Plastic catch pot creates so much static you get coffee everywhere except where you want it. Grind on a 1 setting is NOT espresso grind by a long shot and is a mix of coarse powder and large grains up to about 3-4mm. Delivery settings miss single and double servings by about 2-5 grams!!
I has a Krups gx2 that would choke a francis x1 machine at 15bar. This thing at best is drip grind which is achievable off a cheap blade grinder
This product is easy to use and grinds coffee very well. it looks neat and compact as a design. However a lot of ground coffee end up around the machine rather than being in the receptacle. So it's perfectly ok but not a perfectly designed machine.
Neat little thing. Cute and easy to store and clean.
Was rubbish at grinding expresso grade coffee. Wouldn’t go fine enough. To the point, it was a waste of space. I only tried one machine. So it could of been faulty. But it’s very much a plastic fantastic. I’d pay more and get a machine that’s much more substantial and that can grind down to dust. This cannot.
For a "budget" grinder I found this to be very good indeed, the fine grind was a consistency of "wet sand" as recommended for espresso. a little noisier than my previous Von Chef. The biggest negative was pouring from the container into another storage jar which is a bit messy. However these are minor issues, overall I would recommend as a very good buy.
This is the easiest and most quiet grinder I have ever used. Both grinding and cup options take the guess work out of making the best cup of coffee for everyone. Would definitely recommend every time.
