A few weeks after installation the module is performing as it should in an Acer M1930 motherboard.
The PC was originally supplied with 6GB of memory split over 4GB + 2GB, I replaced the 2GB module with this new 4GB module and have had no compatibility issues despite it being a different brand from the existing 4GB module.
This is now at maximum RAM capacity as unfortunately the M1930 is not designed to recognise more than 8GB of RAM.
This memory module replaced an intermittently defective module in an old Dell xps 8300 system. It is faster than the old memory.
The memory was installed in a few miunutes after it was delivered and the system has worked flawlessly since then.
