No more mice problems - sturdy and reliable design
Well made and looks durable. This was my last resort since our mice seemed immune to poison. This trap does the job! The metal is easy to clean (unlike the cheap wooden versions). No more problems with mice in the garage. Making a better mouse trap.........
Not very effective as supplied. The spikes that hold the bait were set too low so that any downward pressure on them simply locked the trigger - the more pressure, the more it locked. Also, the edges of the trigger and release bar were quite rough, which exacerbated its tendency to lock. However, by filing off some of the rough edges and bending the bait holding spikes to a more vertical position (so that the trigger would receive a horizontal push from the mouse, rather than a downward one), the trap is now hair-trigger sensitive and highly effective. A mouse only has to breathe on it to set it off. PS I found that raisins, which can be pushed firmly onto the spikes, are a very effective baitVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very Effective Trap
With the right bait (I use soft cheese as it isn’t messy) it will kill mice cleanly and humanely. It has a hair trigger so if you don’t catch a mouse you haven’t got a problem.
