Good Drone and RC Simulation
This package has a ton of planes, helis, jets, and a fair amount of quad copters (drones) to choose from. I got this as alternative to the Drone version because of ask the features RF-8 has. The main difference between the Drone version and the rf8 version is that the RF-8 version is that the Drone version only has drones and the hardware cannot be used with RF 8 software, which makes it an obsolete option for me, even if though has a few Drone training sites and training mode that 8 doesn't have, you can still get the same training from 8. Save your money and by 8. The RF-X version is not much better than the RF 8 version because the RF-X version has a supposedly, more realistic look but in fact it's not much better, so for that, RF-X is not worth the money. If you want a rock solid simulator to learn, drones or rc flying, including 3D flying of all rc vehicles, this is the software to get. You won't be disappointed. You get a decent dedicated controller so you don't add wear to your own and the software installs without a hitch. I highly recommend this for anyone just getting into they hobby and yes...simulators DO WORK! I flew 3D on a simulator for 2 weeks, went it on the field with my first build, took off, adjusted the trim, did some aerial tricks, and landed never having flown once in my life. a comfotable way to learn how to fly r/c planes.
This simulator is very realistic. It will help beginners how to be more relaxed handling their transmitter in smooth slow movements rather than jerking control sticks. the anxiety is no longer their teaching a beginner how to make gentle take offs and landings. the item is a little pricey, but the whole hobby is pricey.
