i was verry pleased with the green silicon wheel when sharpening a haif inch lathe tool i got a good edge on it and after i had finished i did not have to redress the wheei before i sharpened another tool .this wheel is verry good value save me buying a diamond wheel.

Not so good grinding wheel
Firstly it wouldn't mount properly and yes I'm qualified under the 1988 Abrasive wheels act to mount abrasive wheels. I t has i think 5 sizes of spacer rings for different shaft diameters and i needed all of them as the shaft on my grinder is 1/2". I had to make a brass spacer on the lathe and it mounted correctly and i trued it with a diamond wheel dresser. I used it today to sharpen a carbide scriber holding it in a drill. I was astonished at the amount that came off of the wheel in dust. In fact it almost was as if i were truing the wheel with the scriber. At this rate i recon the wheel will be worn out in much less than a year and i don't do that much carbide grinding. Time to get a diamond wheel i think. This was a waste of money as far as i am concerned.

exactly what I wanted ,good value for money the only down side bushes didn't fit onto the shaft of the grinder ,and was difficult to balance
