Good Product, but research how it works
My issues were with misconceived operation. The device uses data through a USB cable to allow up to 2 additional monitors to be hooked up to your computer. In order to do that you have to install software. And not all OS are as easy to work with it. (I was trying to use a Linux.) Once I found out how to utilize the port replicator, I was able to get it running on both my Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, Mint, and Uberstudent (though a little buggy on Uber)). One thing I wish, is that it would be able to use the display from power on. However it works great after the system boots and the software runs. Minor for the convience of additional ports, especially for a laptop. Only used a couple times so far, but enjoying the features and functionality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Lenovo Laptop Carbon X1
I just recently purchased Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen i7-6600U @ 2.60GHz 16GB, 512GB SSD Win 10 Pro and I am very pleased with the Laptop. I was using an old MAC Air running windows on it and I feel the MAC has lost its edge as other companies are producing better products. I am yet to validate 12 hours of battery life and still getting used to Windows 10. A lot of dock for the $$$ if U have the cables and other stuff on hand.
These work GREAT and do the same 4k rating job of some new ones that cost $70. Good product, but it didn't fit my older-model of X1 Carbon
I didn't realize that older models of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon have a different data-port/power-jack configuration than newer models. Mine is marked "3rd Generation", type 20BS-00BLUS, and it has a combined rectangular data/power port, 1-inch wide. This Lenovo dock is a good universal USB 3 (not USB C) dock for Windows 10 laptops. Dual DVI monitor support (if your PC graphics handles that), GB Ethernet, lots of USB ports. No extra drivers to install on Win 10. It's worked with every Lenovo, HP, and Dell Windows 10 laptop we've tried.
