Great multi effects pedal
Bought this as an intro to guitar effects. Surprisingly solid build despite being mainly plastic. Lots of effects, some useful, some not, but lots of fun experimenting with sounds. Ignore the amp models and distortion effects if like me you are using the pedal for acoustic guitar and ukulele, and play around with the individual effects settings as the defaults are meant for electric guitar. A little bit of a learning curve initially to change patches, add effects, etc, but it is fairly intuitive and you quickly get the hang of it. Biggest problem is the shear number of different settings to tweak - each patch can comprise up to 5 effects, and each effect has between 3 and 8 different settings to change - can be a bit overwhelming for a newbie but just experiment, eventually you find a sound combination you like. What a great piece of equipment to learn what all the different pedals are for and what different settings of these pedals do. The 100 in built settings (patches) are just the start and can be adjusted or deleted to make way for new ones to suit the sound you are looking for. Search online for patch settings and you'll find a community of users who have provided patch settings to create the sounds from your favorite artists from AC/DC, Slash, John Mayer, Metallica, Bob Marley, the list goes on.
