Best water filtration system
We have been using this system for years. With the new filters available it removes 99.9% of all the impurities and the water taste real good. Nicer than the smaller pitcher type version as this holds much more water, so for a family its a must have. I had a PUR Dispenser for several years and loved it. Unfortunately it was knocked off of my kitchen counter and broken. I was delighted to find a replacement, but this one leaks (a lot). Pur Does The Job!
We had issues with city water contamination and as a result, the chlorine levels had to be elevated. My husband takes tap water to work instead of buying pricey bottled water but was sensitive to the chlorine smell and taste. Pur does an excellent job of taking out the chlorine smell and the filter is still going strong at the two month replacement mark. Hubby is also happy now that his morning coffee has better flavor as well. I highly recommend Pur for anyone who has issues with smelly or off tasting water. Pur water dispenser
Filters slower than my Brita (which I see as a positive), but I just top it off each night with tap water & fits perfectly in my fridge. The spout is raised slightly, so it doesn't touch the fridge shelf (disgusting). But- most important- noticeably better water than Brita. Best water filter EVER!!!!
I have no cons for this product, it is so great. My parents have one in their home, and I knew I would need one in mine one day so I made the purchase easily. So much better than the Britta pitchers we grew up with. You can get a drink much faster after filtering it because you don't have to tilt it to pour out the good water (along with the bad).
