Highly recommended!!!!
I was having a problem with my LG 4K HDR TV when using it as a Monitor for my Gaming PC with GTX 1080, the set would erratically black out. I kept upgrading to different high quality HDMI Cables as some have stated that corrected those types of issues, needless to say none of those things solved the issue. I then reluctantly started my search and came across this, there were some units that were not active and I didn't want to take a chance on them, I was reluctant on this because I just wasn't sure if this would fix the issue since nothing else seemed to, Well, I can say, this corrected the issue and I have not seen the screen/sound blackout issues since. Doesn't do 60hz
I bought this expecting it would allow me to use a Macbook Air 2015 model at 4k60hz. It's still only allowing 4k30hz which I could of bought a normal MiniDP to HDMI all-in-one cable for cheaper. I've got a HDMI 2 cable plugged into the adaptor, and I've tried it also on a Macbook Pro 2015 and still doesn't do 60hz.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't work on 4K 60hz
Unit did max 1080P on my hardware. My card is capable of 4K through the HMDI (30hz) and Display Port (60hz), however using this adapter, I was unable to achieve 4K at all. Did my best to ensure it wasn't user error.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
