Got my first racquet from online and it’s a good one! My game improved instantly. I used to play with Penn5.0 and after awhile I realized it’s limitations. So, I ordered this 4002 model and was blown away by its performance. Not too fast, puts a great spin and not too heavy. It’s got some strong rubber smell to it, but I don’t really mind. It outperformed the more expensive racquet I bought after this one. Very happy with this purchase.

i love to play ping pong and was used to playing with cheap paddles, but then i got this paddle, it made a huge difference in my game, i instantly got better at ping pong within 1 game of playing, the paddle feels amazing in your hand and is very well balanced in weight, feels very sturdy and shipped very fast... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! to anyone!!

Great racket, genuine(checked on DHS site), very tacky and spinny. Prior to this racket I was using Donic Waldner 700(40$ retail), and the DHS 4002 is 10x better for half the price. Mine came with Hurricane III and G888, both great rubbers. It takes a little time for the rubber to break in(2 days of playing). After that the spin and control are fantastic. There is a strange fishy smell coming from the handle. Problem is solved by mixing water with few drops of white vinegar, and applying thin coat on the handle. After applying, leave the racket on the fresh air and the smell is almost neutralized after 1 day. Highly recommend.

I've been looking for a low cost paddle that will give me a decent performance and this one has it all, it is a heavy bat but great combination of speed-spin-control. I would highly recommend it for an novice/amateur attack player.

I have been using this racket for long. Excelente spin, good speed It comes with a hurricane III on both sides, or hurricane III / G888 Too bad you cannot request which one you want. It’s kind of a surprise. But they are both excellent rubbers. I prefer the hurricane III on both sides.

Very good racket, recommended for intermediate players. The rubbers are very tacky-sticky. They are kinda hard, need good technique to unleash full potential (full body motion). I checked the code at DHS web site and it's legit. 22 digit code. The only two complains i have are: 1) Very heavy wood 2) Fishy smell (not the rubbers but the handle, it smells really bad, like rotten fish).

DHS with H3 rubber, good quality, amazing ! I love it, - also use this racket instead of an expensive one to prove, that DHS makes excellent bats. And spin + control, even Butterfly can be compared :) I bought it for my son for training and he continues with it on competitions. Simple, cheap but fighting racket !!! A little bit heavy for children (like my Carbospeed ~195 gm) - but nothing can disturb to punish others with extraordinary spin thanks to rubber's tackiness. 5 stars

These paddles are a lot nicer than I expected. The rubber is very sticky, good for spins. They do have a little weight to them, but I actually like that. I got to these are awesome for the money!

NEW UPDATE: I bought this so that my friend and I could both play with more professional style paddles. The other paddle I bought was the Palio 3-star with the HK1997 rubbers. The DHS paddle is a lot more rubbery and sticky. It has a nice thick pad and is of high quality construction. Initially it felt like the paddle was a little too dead and a little too heavy, but after playing with it for a month or two, my friend and I tend to win slightly more with this one that with the Palio 3-star. Both are great paddles but very different. The Palio is faster but less spinny. The DHS 4002 is fast enough when you need it, but the spin creates an added element of difficulty for your opponent. Overall it's a solid paddle and way better than any old paddle that you buy at Walmart or your sporting goods store, especially for under $20. I also like the Palio 3-star (20-25 bucks).Read full review
