Product is larger than I thought it would be. Looks very smart and although it's early days (I've been using it for less than a week) I'm really pleased with the results. Very easy to use, plug in and go. Features very self explanatory - 3 fan speeds, UV light (on/off) ioniser (on/off), night light (on/off), timer options. Reasonably quiet on lowest fan setting. Filter replacement only every 12 months is also a plus. Spent ages deciding which air purifier to buy and I'm happy I made the right choice.
For me this is a good machine, it does make a difference the air quality, I have a pet hair allergy and I can see the difference the purifier makes Only one niggle is that it needs to work on the fast setting to get the best results but is very noisy on that setting, but my health is better with it than without- worth every penny.
looks great and is quiet in fan 1 speed, the noise gradually increases as the fan speed increases but I cannot see how the noise can be avoided in any machine unless the fan size was much bigger! Either way, the noise is not that annoying. Unit does a good job of clearing cooking smells quickly. On the whole really good value for the money.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Both my wife and I suffer from Rhinitis. It leaves us constantly trying to clear our throats due to the over production of mucus. After just a few days of using the air purifier we noticed a difference so we're very happy about that. I also like that the filter lasts 12 months and isn't too expensive to replace. I don't know how good the UV-C lamp is or the ioniser but we have them on anyway. On the low speed the fan is very quiet, which is good for night time though we can sleep with it on medium speed. I've tried using the scented oil pads but can't really smell those when the purifier is in use but maybe I'm using the wrong essential oil.
So overall I'm very happy with the Homedics air purifier and would recommend it to anyone who suffers from allergies. Read full review
Quiet, multifunctional, good value for money and you can deffinatly tell the fresh air from the stale air. The uv sterilization is a good addition during coronovirus times. The bulbs are super simple to change too.
