'Funny, clever and achingly British - what else would you expect from a book by Richard Osman?'. -- Adam Kay. 'So smart, so funny, so warm, and such a wonderful mystery. If we're lucky Richard Osman will keep these characters alive forever' -- Caroline Kepnes.
A little expensive if using for all over body but you get what you pay for it’s a really rich moisturiser and leaves your skin really soft for days so l would definitely recommend.
I've always enjoyed watching Richard Osman on TV. An intelligent and witty man, i was sure those qualities would transfer across to his novel. I'm afraid i was wrong. There isn't one single character that is memorable or realistic. The writing style of Mr Osman is rather flat and fails to grab the interest of this reader. I kept with it to the end in the hope it would improve. It didn't. I hear Mr Osman will be writing at least 2 more TMC's ? I won't be reading.
Very disappointing, very poor story, how an earth did they persuade decent authors to recommend it...Garbage and I'm not the only one to say so...I offered my copy to my local library who declined as they had had several disappointed members.
The book is an easy read, but very predictable. Marketed as a modern Agatha Christie, and definitely enjoy having protagonists being wily old people.
However, the story itself is eyerolling.
