As good as new, but beware the brittle plastic cover
The unit itself as supplied has been installed for a week and is working perfectly. No need to have a new unit at £350 or more plus vat. But taking the old unit out was a nightmare. The plastic case and bracket that holds the unit was incredibly brittle and broke to pieces in my hands. Like a biscuit. So I had to glue lots of pieces together to reconstruct it to hold the new unit in place. So be VERY gentle and careful removing the old unit other wise you will have to buy a complete new unit to get a new plastic case.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Quality at realistic costs
The original equipment for Keston boilers is very expensive compared to the cost of this reconditioned item and therefore allows for the cost effective repair of the appliance. It carries the same warranty as a new unit and from experience the company stands behind the product should there be issues. If I had to identify a down side it would be that the PCB does not come with the outer casing and as the original is likely to be brittle/broken it would be good to replace it, however this is a mere inconvenience and in no way effect the safe running of the new part.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
