Doesn't come with much of bloatware and everything works as expected. You will have around 8 GB available for yourself. Unfortunately to my knowledge there's no root yet, so the web browsing is really slow with Chrome. But becomes fine if you install & use a browser which block ads. The rear camera has quite a good dynamic range but the pictures somehow suffer from loss of details here or there. Not sure, but it looks to me it's due to compression and that could be resolved by using different camera software. I know we are not buying tablets as a camera replacement but I'd like everything works as supposed. The rear camera len cover frame self developed large crack through coating, from inside surface. It is visible from some angles only, hopefully it doesn't affect picture quality a lot. The sound is fine, has good range from silent to loud, the screen is fine, it has large range from dim to bright (the same can't be said about Lenovo Tab2 10 on Android 4.4) The resolution is sufficient, even small letters are rendered nicely. Great value tablet, waiting for root though.Read full review

I bought a refurbished item from Argos. It's as new: unmarked and battery life exceeds specifications. Screen is really nice, a huge upgrade over my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 in size, resolution, contrast and colour. Sound via the headphone jack is excellent whether you use the Dolby enhancements or not. The sound from the built-in stereo speakers is more than acceptable. The tablet is very snappy & responsive. Games that lagged and stuttered on my old Samsung play perfectly smoothly on this Lenovo. Switching between different screens and apps is quick. Having 2GB of RAM seems to make all the difference over similar models with only 1GB. The rubberised back and sides are easily gripped. I love having a good FM Radio built in. This is much more reliable than 3G/4G on a long journey and uses very little battery. I notice that the WiFi seems to be 2.4 GHz only, no 5 GHz so no dual band, but it holds a signal really well and I have no problem streaming HD movies at home. It's very hard to find anything to criticize. The screen doesn't seem to have the same oleophobic properties as very expensive devices so is a fingerprint magnet, but that's something which wears out in any case. Lenovo don't load the tablet up with junk apps like other manufacturers so you do get to use most of the advertised storage capacity. The microSD card slot is there if you need more. I think this is an excellent budget tablet. There are no faults and all the essentials are there, and nicely done too.Read full review

I needed to replace my broken down Samsung Tab 3 which I had been happy with. Unfortunately due to pressures on my purse at the time I could not afford to purchase another new Samsung. Shopped around and decided not to go 'really cheap' and ended up choosing between the 2 Lenovo's (Tab 3 and Yoga) and an Acer model. Happy so far with the Lenovo Tab 3. Does everything my old tablet did and the sound quality is good. Only downside for me is that it is rather on the heavy side but I am getting used to that. I have arthritic hands so the weight would not trouble most users. Nice looking tablet and the displays on start up page etc. are easy on the eye. It comes with McAfee security ready to activate - useful. I would recommend this tablet. It would be good for family use as there are child settings incorporated.Read full review

Had an 8" Lenovo previously for 3years ,so thought I would update. The new one has more features but is not as quick. That's a bit disappointing.Glad I got the refurbished one and didn't pay full price

Amazing tablet for the price, does what it needs to. Will be slow, and occasionally freezy, but my dad can handle it. Unfortunately if you just wanted a tablet for your older relatives, unless you can teach them, be cautious. Uses jargon like WLAN for wifi instead of just wifi and other similar things that'll confuse your relatives. Wish there was an accessibility theme for it like Sony phones do. Other than that it's a good starting tablet. I just wish the processor was a bit more capable of managing simple tasks. Just to note, if you're considering the cheaper tablets on eBay, DON'T!!! Check the processors in the specs, it'll always be a very ridiculously cheap knock off which is why they were able to make it so cheap. Prices will always depend on the processor, and it makes a lot of difference. Only get tablets from reputable brands! This or kindle fire at its price range are the best on the market.Read full review

Excellent tablet as good as many that are 3 times the price. (Comparing to my Samsung phones and tablets! Which i didn't think it would be considering the price) lovely picture when streaming movies.. No lag even when streaming and then casting to Chromecast. Dolby sound is amazing. Option to remove blue light when reading makes it so comfortable on the eye. With individual user log ins including child options. Charges up to 100% so quickly and then I'm getting 3-5 days use from it with general browsing plus streaming and downloading. I really cannot fault this tablet at all and highly recommend to anyone trying to spend a little less without compromising on speed and capabilities.

Seems to be reliable, as you would expect from a reputable brand. Having bought Lenovo products previously with no issues, I felt reasonably confident that this purchase would mirror those of the past. Having allowed a couple of months this Lenovo tab 3 has passed the test of time. Price of £89.99 at ARGOS autumn/winter 2016 seems a bit steep, For a 8" tablet especially if your on a budget but the only saving grace is having that 2GB RAM which many other models are still only offering a measly 1GB. So overall the functionality can't be faulted and would recommend.

This tablet arrived quickly and in indistinguishable from new. No marks on the case, screen perfect condition. Not so much as a fingerprint on it. Considering the money saved compared to the brand new price it was a bargain. The tablet itself is much better than the Samsung tablets I have since it's not loaded with bloat ware and when the screen is off it isn't running countless things in the background draining the battery. I like the idea that the tablet keeps it's charge if you are not using it. You can also make this tablet power off according to a schedule (eg every day 1am). In that way if you leave it in your bag for a week without using it then it will still be charged up since it will have fully powered off at 1am the day after you last used it. The samsung tablets do not have this feature.Read full review

I bought this for reading books on screen. It's my first Lenovo. I find it an excellent tablet with surprisingly long battery life and vivid screen which accommodates my somewhat defective eyesight. Good value - cheap but price includes Argos guarantee.
