Storage Capacity: 200GB. Micro SD (SDHC and SDXC). SD (SDHC and SDXC). Mini SD (SDHC and SDXC). Product Manufacturer: SanDisk. 1 x Standard SanDisk SD Adapter. Product Type: MicroSDXC. Manufacturer Part Number: SDSQUAR-200G.
Bought this as I needed a card with greater capacity for my new phone. This is superb. The data transfer speed is very fast compared to other cards I've used and there is loads of storage still left on it. Doesn't lose data like other cards I've used previously either.
Good (it is not fake). Size is okay, but the speed is wrong. First write I got 6MB/sec. When rewriting, it goes around 3-4 MB/sec.
This supposed to be a CL10 card what stands for 10 MB/sec writing. Google the specifications. This is not a CL10 card!
As usual with digital storage media, the actual amount of free space is never what is on the card. The manufacturer will always justify the shortfall with terminology and cite their scientific 'expertese' in these matters but it is still not honest else they would include the actual available storage limit in their advertising blurb.
That aside, SanDisk have made reliable solid state cards for some time (counterfeit cards not included) and while I did not get what I paid for (I paid for 200Gb, lost over 10Gb due to technical mathematics), the microSD card was easy to install and works well with my tablet.
I would be happier knowing exactly what I pay for. Get your act together guys & start informing the layman rather than taking advantage.
Googled HP Laptops first to see if the micro sd card could be used with an HP 250 G6... HP said max 250gb so this one was ideal....easy to use and plenty stuff on it already... Upped the storage from 250 to 450 gb so quite happy...I'm pretty useless with pc's and technology...age thing...so if I can use it....anyone can....
What can you say it is as big a memory card as my phone can take which is useful as it takes 20MB pictures in RAW. No problems with keeping up with phone which shoot 120fps HD Video.
