took a chance...
I hadn't seen this item in the flesh first, and was expecting something sturdier and plusher, really. My partner had to take the music box to bits to mend the vibrating function when it arrived too which was disappointing especially as I effectively paid the going rate plus postage having discovered an Asda promotion for £25 after buying this ex display item. Wasn't prepared for the lack of instructions either which was foolish, but I got it built with a bit of head scratching. Next time I will check out a brand/product and research prices and quality first. That said, the music isn't too irritating and my baby is getting better at spending time in it - some days I can eat breakfast entirely before she needs a cuddle, so it's value for money in respect of the help it gives me!!!
