Pulsar 10000 watt duel fuel generator

Received the generator a few days after ordered it. Took about 15 minutes to put the wheels, loft handle s and supports . Filled it up with the recommended oil, hook up the battery and LP tank. It fire up, shut it down, then gave it one pull it started right up. Didn't try gasoline, but am sure it would work the same way. Plan on using LP mostly anyways. Plugged in my compressor no problem at all. Would recommend it for the price, good buy.

    Pulsar 10,000watt

Shipping took over 3 weeks from CA to WI. Unit arrived damaged, plastic blue housing around electrical was cracked in 5 places. Front frame was scraped where something damaged the box in shipping. Even with gasoline this generator overloads and breakers trip at 8000 watts. Very noisey than rated with gasoline. Even with damage it still runs but I would have expected better load performance. If you need a cheap generator with more power it works ok but in hindsite I should have spent another $500 and bought a higher quality generator.

  • Nice little gen set

The day of delivery I installed the wheels and handles, added oil, hooked up the propane tank and she fired right up. I then plugged in my welder and did a test run. No issues with it so far. This is for emergency back up to the house and a portable power supply when working out in the field. It has a little bit of heft to it so you need 2 men to pick it up, but it does roll nice. Very easy to switch between gas and propane. You unplug everything, flip switch and hopefully it keeps running, if not use the starter switch or pull start. Easy to turn over manually if the battery is dead for some reason. Hint: install a cheap solar trickle charger on it and you will not have to worry about the battery not having juice. There is also a plug assembly for charging 12v batteries that I did not realize until I sat down to read the manual.

  • My pulsar generator review

Received yesterday, assembled the generator. Says it comes with a shiping bar. Didn't find one. Everything went together without instructions. Added oil, propane & it fired right up. I have yet to power anything with it but im pleased so far.. 🤔 Cons: LP Gas connection port location could've been located higher on the unit. Tools supplied with it couldve had an integrated on board mini tool box. Made in China. Not made in America. Handles could be 4" longer. Pros: Easy to assemble. Easy to learn layout. Comes with charged battery. Comes with tools for assembling. Good build quality.

  • like the dual fuel option.

gas in a black out can be hard to come by and a real pain to store over long periods. We have propane on site now and the tank is close to the shed the generator will be set up in .only minor fault I see is the battery location. kind of tough to get to very tight location. Other wise it's every thing it is advertised to be. I would recommend it to anyone.jimd

  • Great buy

Received generator on time, no damage. Installed wheels and handles, very simple. Used AMSOIL small engine 10w30 synthetic oil and ethanol free gas. Started right away, runs quieter than I expected. Haven't used LPG yet but I am very pleased with initial quality.

  • Good Buy

Purchased this generator back in July. It showed up in great shape and in about 15 had it up and running. At present can only speak for the propane side as I do not plan on running fuel through it but it’s a great option. Put it through its paces and had no problem with running my entire cabin. If and I do mean if there is a knock about this generator is that the battery is a bit hard to remove but that’s the only MINOR thing I fault with the purchase no regrets.

  • Very good for this price.

I have tested this generator and it has performed well. Initial starting on propane is difficult, but it starts up well on gasoline. Replacement parts appear to be abundant and cheap. Overall I consider this a very good unit for this price, but ultimately time will tell.

  • Great for the Money

It works great for the money. Tried both gas and propane; ran and powered everything as expected. It does go through the propane quicker than gasoline. starts right up, I love it! only con is , its a bit noisey, I thought it would be a bit quieter. Otherwise, great buy!!!

  • Pulsar dual fuel 10000 waty generator

Powerful enough to run whole house well pump ,oil furnace, electric water heater ,lights and TV. Fast free delivery from autocaredepot at an excellent price easy set up amd being able to use propane on a backup generator is also an excellent idea as backup generators are usually pretty fussy if gasoline is not fresh and not having to store gasoline and just using my barbecue tanks until you can get fresh gasoline
