I have read the book and was curious to see it in film version. I thought the casting and acting was lack-luster and fell way short of potential. As for the value of the product - - just fine as a cost for a dvd. The dvd was delivered on time, was in good shape and played well.

Still Life - Inspector Gamache
Excellent movie and I love Nathaniel Parker from the Inspector Lynley series. Movie pretty much follows the book which is a great mystery with interesting characters. I highly recommend both the movie and the book series. Try them, you'll enjoy both!

Still Life is really not still.
This movie follows the book well. Both make you think about life and the characters are very good both in the book and the movie. My book club is reading the book currently and the book was purchased to enhance the characters.

Great adaptation of a brilliant author - Louise Penny!
This is a great adaptation to "Still Life", the first book in a very well written series based on Inspector Gamache in rural Quebec. The author is Louise Penny and she is a Canadian treasure!
