This shaver has many features that make it one of the most up to date shavers on the market. It runs very quiet, does an extremely good job of giving you a very close shave, has a long operating time due to its lithium batteries. I compare it to my original Remington with 3 heads. It doesn't shave as closely, but catches long hairs better, It has no indication if a recharge is required vs. the old one, which is always charged from its cradle. Remington F8 Foil Shaver
I chose this product because it comes with a stand to store the shaver during the day when it is not in use instead of falling off the dresser on the floor. I didn't realize that an extra benefit would be the Lithium Battery which charges quicker than other types of batteries. It does a great job of shaving and it has all the features of the most expensive shavers, including a head that tilts with the contour of one's neck and a light to show that it is plugged in/charging. Great shaver
This shaver is the best i've had in years. Gives a nice shave, long and short hairs, no problem. Nice close shave!
Dollar for dollar this might be the best shaver. I have at least one shaver from every major brand. For closeness my braun series 9 is the best, but it was $250. To me this Remington F8 ties for 2nd place with my panasonic arc 5, but costs a LOT less. Rotary shavers don't quite give as close a shave as foil shavers(good enough though), however I can shave faster with them. If I'm in a hurry I use my norelco 9850. give a good shave even with longer hair.
this shaver will be able to cut your longer hair much better than regular foil shaver due to the middle trimmer, but at the same time, it may not be as comfort a shave as foil only shaver. Great with one caveat
Fairly quiet. Long lasting battery. Fully washable. Waterproof. Can be used in shower. 5-6 minute charge is enough for a shave. Remington refurbished Electric razor
