First rate computer
This computer was to replace one some 4 yrs old which was getting slower and slower. I wanted SSD, more portability, latest W10 and faster processor. This ticked all the boxes. The boot-up time is about 30 seconds from cold: about half that from sleep mode. The trade off was no built-in DVD (standard now - DVDs a bit old hat) and smaller storage capacity 250Gb. However even on the old cluttered computer my total C drive storage was far less than this and much of what I keep is stored on cloud. There is no VGA out, only HTML and USB. However my VGA monitor worked fine with a £6 HDMI-VGA adaptor (don't waste money on expensive ones). This machine was a refurb, works perfectly and carries a guarantee. Quality of build is excellent and the keyboard the best I've used in years: solid and positive. Screen is crystal clear and bright. Sound with inbuilt speakers very good. Wi-Fi antennas pick up the weakest of signals. Thoroughly recommend it.Read full review
