Excellent resource book & library of stitches. Helpful colour-coding of contents and explanations regarding how different stitches are related to/are different from each other, enabling you to start building up a useful understanding of how crochet works. It is exactly what it says on the cover, though - if you want hints, tips & techniques, you need an additional book. I bought this as a beginner, and found that a book on different techniques would have been more useful for a first book. But once I get more of a hang of it all, this will come into its own.
