All over the place.
I enjoy books that are different but the irregular flashbacks and time shifts could have been laced in better. The drunken episodes caused me to lose interest and I felt the ending was rushed, almost as if they'd hit their word count and needed to get it finished off. That said I was in a "just let me get to the end" mindset by then. It's a shame. It was recommended to me by a friend who will also ask how it was.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
