I've owned several similar items, at similar prices. In most respects this beats others. My only reservation is the conical Spring filter arrangement inside the solder collecting tube. It clogs with set solder in the end of the cone very quickly. There must be some reason for this design feature. But I don't understand why it's needed. Without it, the solder would still be drawn into the barrel. I find its neccessary to strip it down for cleaning every few mins to prevent this cone becoming blocked. As soon as it's blocked all suction is lost. When the solder sets in the coils of the spring it can be problematic to remove owning to restricted access.

To be well targeted in my comments i would say this. It is a specialized product. One uses it to de-solder and with proper care as stated in the instructions manual it will prove to be a loyal desoldering station. It is worth it and then some!
