I take loratadine once daily, year around. If I don't I suffer. I usually get Walmart brand or dollar store brand. So far so good with the Kirklands. I also got the bottle with a years worth for maybe 4 to 5 dollars more for the 365 pills and I dont have to buy again for a year. Non-Effective Allergy Meds
I expected my allergy symptoms - sneezing, either stuffy &/or drippy nose, itchy eyes, etc. - to go away almost instantly after popping these tablets once daily. So far after 1 week, I didn't experience any significant improvements with my allergy symptoms. So I'm hoping the weather & allergens in the air calm down, or I may have to go with the ever reliable Claritin-D which is more expensive but very effective based on my experience taking it. Update: A few weeks later, after seeing someone else's feedback by taking 2 pills & it worked... I did the same & no effect at all. As good as Claritin--only cheaper
I have used AllerClear for the last two years, and it works just as well for me as name-brand Claritin. It should, since the active ingredient is the same in both. There are a few days when I still sneeze, but those are high-allergen days. For those people who say AllerClear doesn't work for them and give it a poor rating, you have to remember that this may not be the right medication for them. "As Directed" & Extraordinary use
My daughter-in-law has asthma and could not afford prescription meds., so I suggested that she try some I had, for just a month......she said that it helped her more than any thing else! Also........I had a horse with the "heaves" (asthma) for several years.....tried many things the vet said to use and prescribed. He was pitiful......the heaves was such a strain on his health, he lost about 200 lbs. Since the vet had already prescribed antihistamine for him ("Jake" didn't like the cornmeal that it was in-he thought it was sand), I tried other brands and mixed it in his sweetfeed. That worked for a while, but he was sluggish-no energy. I thought I'd try AllerClear because it was once a day and non-drowsy. He perked up and gained most of his weight back. Of course, he was a horse, so I gave him 8, once a day. My sister has trouble with allergies, so I just recently recommended it to her. Great product in comparison to Allegra
I bought these for my wife as she suffers badly from allergies. She use to take Allegra 180mg at a cost of $34 for a 60 count. She wanted to try these and was pleasantly surprised. She started with 1 10mg but it didn't work all day so she decided to try 2. That did the trick. So she has reduced her dosage to 20mg instead of 180mg and saved .10 a dose with 6 months per bottle vs 2 even though she is doubling up. Great value and product! Can't Live Without It
I have horrible allergies to everything having to do with life. I take this every day and these 365/400 bottles are the only way I could afford not breaking into hives and breathing every day.
