CLASSIC:
This is the story of good and evil, story of right & wrong, & a story of life & death..ALL IN A CARTOON..(smiling)..this is what's missing nowadays in our youth of today. the story is about a race of sentient robots from a planet called Cybertron. The race of robots are divided into 2 factions that followed different codes of life. The robots landed on Earth, & the war between the robot factions has been happening since they arrived. The preface of the story begins when the Autobots went back to Cybertron to get work done, the Decepticons intercepted the Autobots' plans, kidnapped the ship, killed a few Autobots, & killed a few more when they landed back on Earth (including the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime). from there, the story moves on where the Decepticon leader (Megatron) was usurped by his 2nd in command (Starscream)..Megatron on the verge of death was found by a living planet/robot named Unicron, & given back his life, new powers, & now troops known as The Sweep Starcream was then murdered by Megatron (NOW known as Galvatron)..& Galvatron reclaimed leadership of the Decepticons. The Autobots were divided amongst different planets & befriended a race of robots called The Junkions & went to destroy the new menace (a planet that ate other planets). In the attempt to destory Unicron, Galvatron & a new Autobot soldier (Hot Rod) engaged in battle. In the battle Hot Rod grabbed the Auotbot's Matrix of Leadership which was carried by Prime, then Ultra Magnus, & NOW!! by Hot Rod (who was turned into Rodimus Prime).. The ending went along as Rodimus & the Autobots destoryed Unicron & vanquished Galvatron & his minions.. In Summary, a GREAT story, great voice actors, & great writing..with SOME cheesy music..but at the time, LION was hotter than fish grease..(laughing)..IN ALL..i loved the movies..a Bluray is overkill..but if you just want it..(like i did)..go get it..thank you all..Peace..& God bless.. Not TRUE 4K UHD disc
Don't be misled. This is 2 regular blu-ray disc. The 4k comes from the source they used to remaster it. But overall, they are jusy blu-ray disc and not actually UHD BluRays which require a different player.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is no doubt the best transformer movie of all time for various reasons. I'm so glad that I found this steel book case 30th anniversary edition. It includes both widescreen and full screen Blu Ray editions, as well as an incredible cast of Autobots and Decepticons including Optimus Prime as well as Galvatron and Ultra Magnus.
