Excellent strings
I bought a new Hofner C Bass guitar. It came with wound strings. The guitar sounded good but not great. I bought a set of La bella flat wound strings. They are thicker than the size suggests. The sound was instantly excellent. Going through a Warm Audio TB, as a direct in, the sound was deep and precise with a thud. The cost nearly put me off initially, I am glad id didn't as the difference they make, is solid. They feel silky smooth and very nice to play.
