This is great for leaving connected to my project car in the garage to stop the battery draining. It's compact and the leads are long enough to comfortably reach the car from the mains socket. Okay for occasional use
Only for smaller batteries, ie motorcycle batteries and small car batteries. Struggles to charge larger batteries. Do not leave on charge overnight, as it gets worryingly hot to touch. Flimsy crocodile clips and wire, which easily comes away from the soldered joint and has to be reattached. Also wire is quite short, so may have to extend yourself. Another black lump
Simple plug and play battery charger. No LEDs to go wrong, 12v only, no fuse to replace. Provides 1/2 amp of electrical power to keep car batteries topped up, I use mine to power a 12ah battery to use an old car minidisc player, its adequate for this purpose. OK for the price works OK however the quality of the connectors leaves a lot to be desired had to reconnect after second time of use.
