A satisfying product
This product was originally suggested to me by my local DIY shop, now sadly closed. So back to good ol E Bay. This is a thin liquid that soaks into wood very easily and definitely does what it says on the tin! Liquid Gold saved our 150-year-old Dining Table
One end of our Victorian Dining Table was really showing ware due to it being over used as a desk/workspace. The shine had gone and the rich colour of the wood had even faded. We were starting to notice thin gaps appearing within the wood. I applied Liquid Gold with a paint brush, completely covering the surface of the table and left it to soak in over night. In the morning, I used a rag to rub the excess off and to further work the Liquid Gold into the wood. The difference it made was dramatic, the shine came back, the colour is much improved and the splits/gaps have also filled in a bit. I am going to do this with all my old wooden furniture on a regular basis as old wood seems to get a bit thirsty. He told me to use it on the upvc window sills if they got marked or faded or any where else In the house on my light oak upvc windows etc. used up long ago. Then I saw yours, and just had to have . I actually bought this hoping it would cover a scratch on the dining table which in honesty it didn't. I used it on 3 bedsides which were all beating up, scuffed etc. And looked all grey even though their solid oak, this stuff has made them look brand new! I assumed even though I'd dry it next day it would fade and they'd be back because they were bad but oh my god they are new again this really is liquid gold
