garbage!!!
I bought 2 of these units one for my car and one for a friends car, i installed mine in a honda accord to work with a pioneer deh-80prs headunit. I set the dial to 7 for pioneer and hit the program button 3 times for honda as stated in the directions, the unit blinked 3 times confirming programing is complete and ready for use. the unit did not work. i opened the other module and switched it out to see if the first was faulty. after programing the second module automatically started increasing volume without touching the steering wheel controls. I contacted PAC customer support over a week ago and still have not heard anything back. It's a very simple 4 wire installation in my vehicle and i've been an MECP (mobile electronics certified professional) installer since 2003, i double, triple, and quadruple checked my wiring and it is correct. I don't know if PAC has their products made in china with no testing or quality control or what, but they don't respond to customer support and try to resolve the situation so they get a huge FAIL in my book. I've installed pretty much the same product made by Metra 100 times a year and never had a single issue. Spend the extra $15-20 for the metra steering wheel control module and save your self the headache and time!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor documentation
The information for my car on their website was wrong, and their documentation is so lacking, that it took a long time to figure out that the solid red light is what you want. Then programming it for my radio took a lot of trial and error. After I figured all that out, it works well. My only complaint now is that the accessory wire cuts out and resets the radio when I start the car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wrong car wire colors listed on products website
The wires im supposed to connect to from my car don't match up with what the website tells me to connect this product to. I am very disappointed as my car, a 2006 nissan maxima se, is a very common car and I see no reason why the wrong wires are listed. Doesnt Work with All Vehicles
I had an 04 Acura TL previously and the PAC SWI-RC worked fine, However; I then purchased an 09 Acura MDX (using the same radio unit) and neither SWI-RC or SWI-RC-1 was compatible at all. Great product - wrong information
My 2009 Kia Rondo was listed as having the Hyundai 24 interface but in reality it was the New Kia Hyundai interface ... so it took a long time to figure out the wires ... but once I did it all worked perfectly! !
