Mostly good
I was going to give it an "OK" rating but it would be unfair. The Hexagonal phase continues the "trilogy" brought to life by the BBC. There are four elements to this, the music, the sound effects, the narration, and the acting. Nice to have some of the original cast which aids the continuity. Howeve there seemed to be a lot of narration filling in the gaps in the radio play itself, and the writer does seem to have a leaning toward Eccentrica Gallumbits and similar topics throughout this story, for example the doors with personality quoting 'enter in any direction'. The innuendo is a bit boring and not what we come to expect from a Douglas Adams original.Nonetheless if you have the previous five, the music, sound effects and the acting hold up very well. The late Stephen Hawking also makes a token appearance. There's no mention of the sound format (i.e. "surround") which was mentioned before the radio transmissions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
