I thought long and hard about buying this; and based most of my decision on the description provided by Sealey. I own a number of bikes and wanted to own a top quality lift that would be suitable for all my needs. The description clearly stated that rear wheel removal would be made easier by the removable rear panel, and this was what swung it for me. When it arrived it became immediately clear that this lift will not allow removal of either wheel; the bike has to be secured to the ramp by rachet straps - not supplied! - that should, according to the instruction leaflet, compress the suspension front and rear by 75%. With the suspension thus compressed, how the hell can you remove a wheel??? Not only that but the ramp is not wide enough to allow a paddock stand, or even my bike's centre stand to be employed. If you just want to carry out some high rise cleaning, or maybe an oil change it would be fine, but if you need to do anything which involves removing a wheel, then hard luck. For me it was useless. Really like this lift. Feels much better quality than a lot of other lifts on the market. I thought it might be a bit too narrow for the bikes centre stand but it is more than wide enough. It doesn't seem to take up much floor space and I like the feature, that it can be stored vertical. All in all very pleased with it.

A fairly well engineered lift, but the manual shows four feet and only two where supplied, which makes it less stable than it should be. I would therefore rate it 8 out of 10.
