Triple-bill of Hollywood classics. In 'Road to Bali' (1953) Bob Hope and Bing Crosby star as a music hall double-act who find themselves working as deep-sea divers in the South Seas, encountering cannibals, a giant squid, and the sultry Princess McTavish (Dorothy Lamour) along the way. Jane Russell, Humphrey Bogart, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis also turn up in cameo roles. 'Basin Street Revue' (1955) is a collection of musical performances, recorded at Harlem's Apollo Theatre, from some of the stars of 1950s R&B, including Nat 'King' Cole, Martha Davis and Willie Bryant. 'Forbidden Music' (1936) is about the mythical kingdom of Lucco, where music has been outlawed by the Princess Regent (Diana Napier), until the brooding Mario (Richard Tauber) manages to change her mind.
