I liked the fact it was about Rasputin which I am highly motivated about. It was eductional except there wasn't many true facts in it. It was also unrealistic. It was funny and you get the general gist of what Rasputin was like except I read up about him a lot and there was no knew facts init than I already knew. If this is for some one taking it at GCSE level then I highly recommend this, it will give you enough information about him to get through the course. Wrote by my daughter who it was bought for!
Maybe not the greatest Hammer film but a pleasant change to see the great Christopher Lee in a more challenging role, typecast as the count in so many hammer films this role was something to really get his teeth into. This film is actually not bad , i had not seen it for a while and i really liked it
I decided to buy it as I wanted to show my students (who are studying the Russian Revolution) how Rapsutin has been portayed in the media. It is very hammy but wonderful - they loved it!
