I have all 9 seasons of Little House. I love them all! The only thing I didn't like about this product is the fact that you can't select the scene you want. Sometimes I just want to watch the end of an episode and it won't let me fast forward or hop directly to that part. I guess all of the earlier seasons are like that. The later seasons seem to have it. I've been jumping around and I'm currently watching season 6 which DOES have the scene selection option. Overall, I would highly recommend all 9 seasons of Little House to anyone who loves the show. The show is fantastic! (Nothing like you would find on any TV show made today).
This series of "Little House on the Prairie is really great and I like it very much and these episodes teach good lessons as well as being good episodes with good adventures and all 3 girls Mary Laura, and Carrie get into some great situations and learn valuable lessons in these shows as well as have some good adventures. All of the episodes are nice and clean with good moral values and very enjoyable shows for the whole family. I highly recommend that the whole family sit down with some popcorn and watch these episodes in this series. I love this as well as all of the other series of "Little House on the Prairie" very much, watch this with your family and enjoy I bought this because they do not make shows like this any more This show is a classic.

I grew up watching Michael Landon, first in 'Bonanza', then in 'Little House'. Little House on the Prairie is an outstanding example of wholesome entertainment that the entire family can enjoy. I'm a grown man, but almost every episode brings tears to my eyes. As a Director, Michael Landon knows how to push the right buttons. The values presented are also outstanding. Faith is given a prominent place in almost every episode. They also tackle issues such as racism, child abuse, alcoholism, and other social issues, many of which still plauge societies today...always in compassionate and humane manner. The moral fiber of the main characters is exemplary. I think little house is a beloved series because, even though it's an idealistic and romantic vision of life on the prairie in the late eighteen hundreds, there is enough of the real trials of life presented to always keep it interesting. Little house is a true family show. I only wish there were more shows like it, and that Hollywood cared more about promoting the kind of character and values displayed by most of the risidents of Walnut Grove. Michael Landon was one of a kind. I purchased the entire Little house collection, the pilot, the nine seasons, and the post productions so that my kids can enjoy it just like I did! It's a big hit with my family, and that includes my teenagers. That a Western, which is really what Little House is, can still be so popular in todays world of Star Wars and nonstop action movies, says alot. I love this show and wanted to share it with my kids. If not for disc 1 being scratched I would have rated excellent. This is not a knock on Little House just on the disc :). Show is set in late 1800's and many of the shows have great examples of family values. Teaching what is right...whether you like it or not. In most episodes difficulties arise and have to be overcome. Just how that happens is what makes the show enticing.
