Had to scrape the paint off to get the tool to fit into the chuck. Teeth on tool would not open the chuck as too soft. (I had a drill bit secured in the chuck) seems to be lightweight alloy, Maybe suitable for light weight DIY drill chuck. Had to go and buy UK made chuck key-Job done. Buy cheap, Buy twice.

The shaft of this key is too big to fit into my Bosch 3/8 chuck, so is of course absolutely useless. At least at this price I could just bin the thing without bothering to complain to ebay. Another quality Chinese item, should have known better.

I had to give it one star so that I could submit the review, but it doesn't deserve even half a star. I would recommend that nobody buys this as it is sh*t. The teeth have worn away after very little use because it is made from some cheap alloy. It is not fit for purpose. It's in the bin where it belongs.

Lost my elderly B & D corded drill chuck key when the captive retaining strap broke; problem: what size was the key? Problem solved - get a multiple, it looks after three other drills whose keys are different as well if I mislay the keys for them. Goodness knows if the teeth on the 4-way are robust but time will tell. Outstanding value if it performs well. (P.S. Found the original "lost" key as well but the 4-way is an excellent back-up for all the keys)
